I set up the BG blog on Wednesday 21 October 2009 – Trafalgar Day. At the time the blog was set up to campaign assertively and boldly for the UK to leave the EU and also to tackle the CO2 Glow Bull Warning propaganda. Since then on this day I have recorded the event by announcing the blog’s anniversary. This year it is different.
Why?
Because at 09:15 on Friday 21 October 1966, an ordinary school morning was shattered when a coal tip above Aberfan collapsed.
