Today in various centres of population in the UK of 2026, a woman dressed as the woman in today’s image is not that uncommon.
However, today’s post has nothing to do with women’s clothing!
Dr. Johnson wrote that the prospect of being hanged in a fortnight concentrates a man’s mind wonderfully. Well, fifteen days from now on Friday 12 June, 2026 will see the US release of Steven Spielberg’s movie “Disclosure Day” (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disclosure_Day).
There will be a lot of hullabaloo generated and for a brief moment the mainstream media will indulge itself on speculation abut “Little Green Men”! And then move on!
Dear Reader, I state categorically: Whatever is in the movie it MUST be realised that IT IS A WORK OF FICTION!
I would however draw your attention to a previous Sci-Fi movie, The Day the Earth Stood Still starring Michael Rennie and Patricia Neal. It’s release date was 8 September, 1951. This sci-fi class was also A WORK OF FICTION!
I would however also draw your attention to the famous cluster of flying saucer sightings over Washington, D.C., on 27 July 1952. NB: 1952 AD is after 1951 AD!
Recently Dr. Beatriz Villarroel, a researcher in astronomy at the Nordic Institute for Theoretical Physics (Nordita) in Stockholm has drawn attention to what essentially are photographic evidence of “UFOs” aka “UAPs” in Earth orbit (https://www.space.com/space-exploration/search-for-life/were-unexplained-flashes-of-light-in-70-year-old-sky-surveys-caused-by-ufos-or-nuclear-testing-why-not-both-researchers-say) – five years before Sputnik!
Dr. Villarroel and Nordita, Stockholm University, have been scrutinising photographic plates exposed in the years before the Space Age began, as part of the Vanishing and Appearing Sources during a Century of Observations (VASCO) project. The aim of VASCO is to use archival data, now digitized, to search for new astrophysical transients, which are objects that brighten or fade, sometimes dramatically. These objects can appear as a spot of light in one image of the sky or space, only to vanish in the next.
All credit to Dr. Villarroel, but this astronomer will NOT have been the first to view and to perceive what these “flashes of light” are.
Consider this: Senior officers commanding the armed forces of superpowers are generally NOT incompetent!
This notable absence of incompetence was to be found in the person of General Hoyt Sanford Vandenberg (January 24, 1899 – April 2, 1954) who served as the second Chief of Staff of the United States Air Force, and was also the second Director of Central Intelligence. General Vandenberg served as Chief of Staff of the United States Air Force between 30 April, 1948 to 29 June, 1953.
Understand this Dear Reader: When what has become known as the UFO Flap of 1952 occurred, you can bet your bottom US Dollar that General Vandenberg will have wanted to know what EXACTLY was going on above the skies of Washington DC and the Pentagon!
You can be sure that the Palomar Observatory in California was tasked to scan the sky for evidence and clearly that evidence was found!
Today, scientific opinion and the reliable “talking heads” in the mainstream media are putting forth alternative explanations as the authorities are still as keen as mustard to keep the lid on what has been going on since 1947!
Why?
#1: Because confirmation will cause huge social impact!
#2: Because the authorities have known about instances of “alien abductions” – where people have been “abducted” by ETs and have been examined and experimented upon. An admission that they knew about this and did nothing and did not acknowledge it will have let us say, negative political consequences!
That the 1951 classic curiously predicted something along those lines occurring in 1952 indicates the possibility of something happening a year or two of three or more after the movie is released.
That is NOT to say Mr Spielberg was given any access to classified information. There was no need. All it needed was a “nudge” from a source who could be relied upon to have no connection with government whatsoever, to gently suggest to Mr Spielberg that making such a movie now would be a jolly good idea!
