The title of today’s blog-post is of course the 1969 “hit” Bad Moon Rising by Creedence Clearwater Revival (https://youtu.be/zUQiUFZ5RDw).
Those of us in our 70s and older will remember this song doubtless with a smile. Of course, Mrs Krasinski, to use her married name, was not born when that song was in the “hit parade”.
I’ve chosen this old favourite (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bad_Moon_Rising) because the first two lines of the lyrics (“I see the bad moon a-risin’ / I see trouble on the way”) are words that will be peculating through the minds of President Trump and former President Biden as these two gentlemen will remember the song as do the rest of us oldies and they will be applying these words to the absolute “sXXt show” that would unfold were the truth that is “out there” was to be revealed to the general public!
The general public have yet to see the movie and I’m not going to rush to see it. But then as in my previous post (https://british-gazette.com/the-mother-of-all-cover-ups/) refers, the potential of the “sXXt” hitting the fan would occur one, two, three or more years after the film has been released.
The problem – for many of the world’s politicians – being that they covered up (with very good reason) the level of knowledge about and contact (indirect for the most part) with the ETCs (note the plural) from their electorates!
Many readers may well be feeling that I am being overly dramatic. That were evidence of ETCs to be confirmed and even much detail was revealed about them, most of the public will take it onboard and carry on with their lives much as before.
Au contraire, mes amis !
Remember, this is news that will be broadcast world wide! Every government in every nation from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe will have to deal with the consequences.
To say the effect the effect on the world’s religions will be dramatic is to understate the matter grotesquely!
Humanity HAS been here before – and I am NOT referring to the “ancient aliens” scenario! I am referring to the contacts that indigenous peoples had with Europeans from the 16th to the 19th Centuries. It was generally disastrous – for the indigenous peoples!
Of course the senior politicians such as President Trump, President Biden and such as Sir Keir Starmer will have been briefed by their specialist advisers as to the suggested actions they should take – and have already allowed to be taken – to “ready” and “prepare” their populations for what at a point in the future is inevitable.
At this point it is important to realise that since the 1950s there has been a planned progression of actions and developments that ultimately would lead to what in Sci-Fi genre is described as “First Contact”.
You see, the reason why “First Contact” is not far off and why Mr Spielberg was encouraged to make his movie is that technological developments are approaching the level where “First Contact” can be managed without civilizational collapse.
What are these developments? I hear you ask!
These:
#1: Artificial Intelligence (AI) – soon to be Artificial General Intelligence”.
#2: Quantum computing.
#3: Humanoid robots.
There are more – but these three are significant.
At this point, I am not going to attempt to speculate as to what pattern of events will unfold. That is pointless. I have no idea!
