One of the things I pay attention to when writing a blog-post is the title. It has to be catchy.
This title was chosen because according to the two reports contained in the links below:

We might be in for a hard winter. However, here’s hoping the “jet stream” will divert any hard winter away from Dear Old Blighty! Fingers (and toes) crossed!
IF however, the crossing our appendages does not work we could find that the Nightmare Scenario of a cascade failure affecting the area inside the London Orbital (M25) takes place. Given the time of year and the the phenomenally infective COVID-19 Omicron variant is most prevalent in Greater London it could result in a perfect storm.
Returning for a moment to the subject of the title, an alternative title would have been, “Stupid is as stupid does!” This due to the folly committed by the Tories in N Salop illustrated in the image at the top of the post!
IF the disaster outlined above happens and widespread civil disorder breaks out across the kingdom, I cannot see the Unfortunate Boris surviving – or even the government.
The country will be plunged into a full scale state of emergency.
Trouble they say (like buses) comes in threes. IF war breaks out between Russia and Ukraine as well as the catastrophe above taking place, all bets are off!
One is reminded of the traditional Chinese curse, “May you live in interesting times…..”
This predicament has NOT however been solely the doing of the Tories. One of the biggest culprits will be Ed Milliband – he who put the disastrous Climate Change Act on the statute book!
The thing is that this disaster will not be just a Tory failure – it will be an establishment failure. The establishment being the Guardian reading “Green” activist chattering classes who dominate government and the establishment – including of course the state broadcaster the Balderdash Broadcasting Commissariat!
The most eloquent commentary on this fooliaminy of fools that rule over the long-suffering and hard pressed British People is contained in an ancient verse.
Although the BG is NOT a religious blog, it does not shy away from religious and ecclesiastical matters, albeit such excursions into these subject areas is not common. Today’s blog-post is one of those occasions and I quote Proverbs Chapter 26, Verses 1 to 12 below.
I think it describes hat North the Younger calls “the Green Blob” perfectly!
Proverbs 26 (Honour Is Not Fitting for a Fool)
1 As snow in summer and rain in harvest, So honour is not fitting for a fool.
