Doctor North in his blog-post today (https://www.turbulenttimes.co.uk/news/front-page/climate-change-a-fantasy-world/) once again describes the slow motion train crash which is the UK’s “Net Zero Carbon” plan! It should really be called the Economic suicide plan!
Our Dearly Beloved Prime Minister’s plan is complete fantasy with absolutely no possibility of being turned into reality!
Boris’s plan is as much a fantasy as the alien woman that graces the top of today’s post! Any sane person realises that this woman came into existence in the mind of the artist!
What I do NOT understand is how can he and his coterie get away with this nonsense? Surely to goodness there must be competent, knowledgeable and serious minded professionals occupying senior positions across industry – not least the electrical power generating industry – who must know this? At what point do the markets (the currency and stock markets) realise this would be “King of the World” has no clothes on him?
I’m thinking that at some point the markets will loose all confidence in the UK in pursuit of this suicidal objective and this will result in a crash of the London stock market and Sterling will sink like a lead brick on the world’s currency exchanges. When this happens the economic effects will be devastating and surely the people will want to see the culprits responsible held to account?
Presumably the politicians in power will lay the blame on the scientists and claim that “We were only following the science!”
I think that excuse will become as infamous as “Ich habe nur Befehle befolgt!”
