It seems what I call the “Green Brigade” are about to shot themselves in both feet with both barrels of a figurative 12 bore double barrelled shot gun!
The person performing this gross act of self harm is a certain Mr Joe Harry Lycett, a comedian and television presenter.
It seems that the act is going to take place after 9PM this evening on the Channel 4 television channel. It seems that Mr Lycett is going to portray Shell’s CEO Mr van Beurden defecating from his mouth!

Whilst this may amuse the coarser members of the Green Brigade it will disgust the vast majority or ordinary decent members of the General Public!
This blog is a political blog and as such many of it’s readers are politically active, if not members of political parties. As such they know that there are two ways victory can be achieved in a political campaign:
#1: By convincing and good argument and a sound targeting strategy.
#2: By shooting oneself in the foot!
PS: During the 2016 Referendum campaign, I was a member of UKIP and spent a lot of my time ensuring that some of our members did not get near to a microphone as I felt it was the task of the Remain campaign to score points against us and not for us to do it for them! If such as Ms Lucas do not try and spend all their efforts between now and 9PM to see that Channel 4 “pull” the broadcast then she is committing a very great error.
