“The truth is out there” is the iconic tag-line from the science-fiction series The X-Files (1993–2018), often spoken by Agent Fox Mulder to signify that answers to conspiracies, alien life, and paranormal mysteries exist, even if hidden. It represents a mandate for curiosity, investigation, and scepticism of authority.

As time goes on, the subject of “Unidentified Flying Objects” (UFOs) now known as “Unidentified Aerial Phenomena” (UAE) keeps cropping up on the “internet”, “social media” and the mainstream media.
There are persistent calls for governments to publicise what they know including any and all contacts they may have had with technologically advanced alien civilisations (aka “ETs”).
That at least one technologically advanced alien civilisation exists and that “contact” in some form (direct or indirect) has been made is a FACT.
That governments across the world do not want to acknowledge this is well known.
British Gazette comment: At this point, someone surfing onto this blog for the first time and knowing nothing about me will assume that I count among that ever growing number of persons and organisations calling for “full disclosure”. Well I have got news for you: I DO NOT!
I happen to agree with The Right Honourable Sir Keir Starmer PC, KCB, KC, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and the Member for Holborn and St Pancras on this: That there should be NO disclosure until such a time when that policy becomes unsustainable and impossible to maintain!
Why?
Because the “full disclosure” being called for will create chaos!
FACT: Chaos does NOT require large numbers of the general public to create it. Chaos can be created by small numbers of fanatically motivated people.
FACT: The numbers of fanatically motivated people who would be “triggered” by the “full disclosure” being called for are NOT small! In FACT their numbers are large!
FACT: Many “persons of faith” would find that their belief system and world was turned upside down and inside out!
FACT: Every member of the security services and the police service KNOWS this!
FACT: Every cabinet minister KNOWS this!
FACT: Every senior military officer KNOWS this!
Therefore it is a GOOD THING that I am regarded by locals who regard the existence of “little green men” as delusional nonsense and who know of my views on the topic regard me as a raving lunatic!
Of course I point out to these good people that there are three things one has to remember about the Little Green Men:
#1: They are not little!
#2: They are not green!
#3: They are not men (humanoid)!
