The Shape of Things to Come.

Above, four images of four ladies through the years. From left to right: An Edwardian lady, a lady from the “Swinging Sixties”, Rihanna (aka Miss Fenty) photographed 2015 and a lady wearing Islamic dress.
The Shape of Things to Come the science fiction novel of H. G. Wells, published in 1933 typically of the genre, painted a dystopian view of future events from 1933 until the year 2106. The story told of a “world state” being established as the solution to humanity’s problems.
Yesterday’s report in the Guardian newspaper of a British Muslim family being denied (by US officials) the opportunity of visiting Disneyland in the USA and the calls for the Prime Minister to use his influence to overturn the decision in the Muslim family’s favour is a depressing foretaste of developments we can expect to occur on a regular or even a continual basis in the future.

These developments have a self fulfilling inevitability built into them. Many Muslims living in the UK – and elsewhere in liberal, democratic Western Europe – have become increasingly disillusioned and critical of secular liberal Western Society the mores and values of which they despise. These disaffected citizens will be further disaffected when democracies such as the USA – who do not have the same per capita level of Muslims as the UK and Western Europe – will enact measures and take decisions which will be viewed as discriminatory towards the Muslim citizens of these countries.
Furthermore, as the Muslim population increases those very mores and values will change in the UK and those Western European nations. Social mores and democratic rights will respectively become increasingly conservative and restrictive.
There will be some readers who will dispute this suggesting that today’s liberal attitude towards “equal marriage” and the “accepted status” of “LBGT people” as demonstrated by the conviction of Mr Overd (now overturned on appeal) are here to stay.
This however is nonsense. Social attitudes and mores are in a state of constant change. What is not constant however is the rate of change. Sometimes change comes rapidly, sometimes change comes exceedingly slowly. The attitude towards the status and social acceptance of “LBGT people” has been rapid from the conviction of Alan Turing on 31st March 1952 to 3:06 PM on Wednesday 17th July 2013 when the Marriage (Same Sex Couples) Act received the Royal Assent.
The plain simple fact of the matter is this: a pendulum swings both ways.
The British Gazette has been at pains to point this divergence to the political establishment in this country. They are of course aware of it. Unfortunately they are in a state of denial. The problem is so big, seemingly so insoluble, that politicians like Mr Chameleon prefer to bury their heads in the sand and hope the problem will go away, or at least not impinge too much during their term of office.
One of the features of human civilisation is the reuse of ideas and concepts, often in differing forms from one generation to another.
At this point we would advise such as Peter Hain to stop reading this article at this point and if intending to continue to read to do so either after seeking medical advice or taking blood pressure tablets.
This is because we will see a return of the system of Apartheid in this country. This is because it will be about the only way of maintaining some sort of civil order in the British Isles.
As the reader will know, Apartheid (an Afrikaans word meaning “separateness”, or “the state of being apart”, literally “apart-hood”) was a system of racial segregation in South Africa enforced through legislation from 1948 to 1994. Under apartheid, the rights, associations, and movements of the majority black inhabitants and other ethnic groups were curtailed and Afrikaner minority rule was maintained.
Apartheid will be introduced in the British Isles in order to selectively enforce Sharia Law. We will see the establishment of autonomous Islamic enclaves. The rulers of these enclaves will of course have a significant influence in the day to day running of the nation state but whereas their dominance over the inhabitants of the enclaves will be dictatorial and total, the secular non Muslim areas outside will be free to continue with their lifestyles.
This however will NOT be a peaceful relationship. If you want a present day example of what to expect, look to Israel and that state’s problems with Islamic terrorism from Gaza.

  1. I see there is a movement to change the British marriage laws . This would be to meet the requirements of the form of marriage preferred by some groups other than Christians. Such could be the fuel for further feelings of “them and us” leading to who knows where.

  2. When I last read the Act of Treason, it said that it is Treason to set up a State within the State, Sharia Law and it’s Jewish equivalent is not only illegal but Treason,. Where are the upholders of BRITISH law to act upon these gross infringemnts?
I know that Blair ammended the Act of Treason to ensure he would not be hanged in the event that his past crimes caught up with him, but as I understand it, he had no legal right to tamper with our legislation and life inprisonment is not actually the final punishment.
Off to eat Christmas dinner being prepared for me, yummy!
A VERY HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO THE EDITOR AND ALL THE READERS OF THIS EXCELLENT WEBSITE.
