The British Gazette: Our second anniversary.

Today marks the second anniversary of the online 21st Century, British Gazette. An occasion to look forward and to look back. In addition of course we celebrate the Battle of Trafalgar on this day, as many will know that the 21st October 1805 was the day that the Royal Navy led by Admiral Lord Nelson, defeated Napoleon’s fleet off Cape Trafalgar. This day therefore was the most propitious day on which to re-launch the British Gazette.
It is therefore fitting that we should conduct a very brief review of the two previous years and look ahead to the future. Above is Sir Winston S. Churchill, KG, PC the first Editor of the British Gazette of May 1926.
Two trends would appear to have occurred whilst the new online British Gazette has been attempting to “Speak the Truth unto the Nation.” These trends are the unravelling of two great frauds perpetrated upon the British People. One is the European Union. The other is the Climate Change Scam. It should of course come as no surprise that the authors and perpetrators of both frauds are the same!
Fraud however is a crime that has a certain inevitability about it. The longer a fraud is conducted, the greater the chances are that the fraud will be exposed and the fraudsters brought to justice. Sometimes it may take a long time but the end result is always the same. We are sure that Mr Bernard Madoff would now testify to this.
Following the British and Allied armies turning back Rommel’s forces at El Alamein between the 1st to the 27th July, 1942, Sir Winston famously stated: “It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.”
The British Gazette however is a little more hopeful so far as the present crises besetting each fraud as we think that it may very well be the beginning of the end of both scams. The abandonment of the carbon capture project at Longannet in Fife shows that the reality of what is possible is catching up with the greens. The looming economic crises that will befall Italy, then Spain and then France between 2012 and 2014 will be the death knell of the European project as the German taxpayer comes to the salutary discovery that up to THREE TRILLION EUROS of their taxes will have been wasted trying to support the “European Project.”
Eurorealists and British Gazette readers have, are and will continue to complain at the amount of their taxes going to support the “European Project.” However, the money we give to the EU will pale into insignificance compared to what the German taxpayer will have given.
Looking ahead, it will on Monday 4th August, 2014 be 100 years to the day from Tuesday 4th August 1914 – the day the UK declared war on the German Empire. The British Gazette does not expect the EU to be around – at least in its present form. Whether it is in existence at all will be up to the politicians today. If the Europhile political elite persist in trying to keep the whole entity intact, it is doubtful it can survive. International financial and market forces will tear it apart. The British Gazette will say: Good Riddance!

  1. “Whether it is in existence at all will be up to the politicians today. ”
How true Peter. Certainly the people seem likely to be denied a voice , yet again. Cameron and now Hague will do all in their power to deny the great British public their say.
In doing this they are playing with serious fire, the people will NOT be denied much longer and will find a way.

  2. As I understand the Law and the British Constitution, Magna Carta, Bill of Rights, we are governed by our consent, and that allowing a foreign country the power to rule over us, unless we are defeated in battle, is High Treason. Possibly the reason Tony Blair abolished capital punishment for the offence?
However, the ordinary men and women, non-political, non-violent occupiers of Wall Street and Times Square, described, shamefully, as a rabble by the Daily Mail, are making a valid point. The entire financial structure of our economy, once backed by gold and silver bullion, has been replaced by the swindling banks, to an economy based upon promises of a repayment of debt.
Banks make money by writing themselves a cheque, and by swindling everyone who has ever held a mortgage. 1% of the population have stolen 90% of the wealth, and the 99% are rising up in peaceful protest.
You cannot stifle and idea with force, ask any fallen dictator.
