Lasciate ogne speranza, voi ch'intrate (Abandon all hope, ye who enter here)

Above, one of the most famous sights in the world.
As Dante and his guide, the Roman poet Virgil, guides him through the Gates of Hell bearing the an inscription, “Lasciate ogne speranza, voi ch’intrate”, he hears the screams of the occupants. Passing through the metaphorical gate was the analogy of passing from life to death – no way back.
Reading Doctor North’s blog-post today (http://eureferendum.com/blogview.aspx?blogno=87258), it is likely that the new occupant of #10 will have set themselves on a path to their own and their party’s purgatory and damnation – whatever course they adopt. This because there will be no renegotiation of the Withdrawal Agreement. So the choice will be leave without a deal or revoke Article 50 – both will carry great punishment.
Maybe thisshould be placed outside the door to greet the new occupant!
