Keeping the lid on things!

Above, an excellent poster from the Michigan Waterways Stewards.

On the 9 June 2026, UFO/UAP “whistleblower” Mr David Grusch repeated his claims about UFO/UAP and the information that he declares the US government is withholding from the US public. He had the support of some Republican and Democrat politicians.

Mr Grusch is correct in his public declaration and many along with him, passionately want the US (and other) governments to “come clean” and publish what they know.

I have to caution Mr Grusch; be careful what you wish for. Because you might get it from President Trump due to the many “difficulties” he has to deal with!

You see, the issue is this: to say that the US government to acceding to Mr Grusch’s demand would be newsworthy would be to drastically understate the impact!

I caution Mr Grusch as the “news” will be one of three things:

#1: Good news.

#2: Bad news.

#3: A bit of both.

The FACT that Mr Grusch – and his supporters – have to take on board is this:

In ALL three cases the “fallout” (figurative and/or literal) will be disruptive.

NB: By using the adjective “disruptive”, I am drastically understating the impact! In fact, a more sober assessment is to state that this:

Good news will be somewhat catastrophic.

Bad news will be utterly catastrophic.

A bit of both will be catastrophic.

This is why EVERY government of the 193 sovereign states that are members of the United Nations (UN) have adopted the SAME policy. Consider that fact for a moment:

Every state including Afghanistan, North Korea and Norway (widely considered the UN member with the best human rights and democratic record. It consistently holds the number one spot in global governance and liberty assessments) has followed the same policy.

There is another phrase that has origins in the medieval period: “Let the cat out of the bag!”

The origin of this phrase relates to a fraud perpetrated on an unsuspecting purchaser. The fraudster would offer a piglet that was contained in a bag/sack. The victim would hand over the coins and the fraudster would have over the bag/sack. The fraudster would demonstrate that he was a very good sprinter for as some as the transaction was done, he would run away as fast as his legs could carry him! Why? Because the bag/sack contained a stray cat and not a piglet! The reason for the speedy retreat was that in medieval Europe sentences for theft were far more severe than they are in today’s EU!
