The UK’s state broadcaster the BBC have dutifully published the following (https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-68942483) on the occasion of the 9th birthday of HRH Princess Charlotte of Wales.
Based on present statistics life expectancy at birth for a girl is around 83 years. Given her family and social status it is reasonable to suggest that for HRH we are looking at a life expectancy of 90 years and she will very likely live a lot longer due to advancements in medical technology.
What this means is that HRH will be able to see in the new century on Thursday 31st December 2099 or for those preferring a different calculus, Friday 31st December 2100. In other words, HRH will be able to “see in” the 22nd Century!
Of course one certainty is that I, born in 1955, will be dead!
Another certainty is that the world will have changed very greatly in many ways by those two dates!
Another certainty is that HRH will not be suffocating or freezing or suffering from heat exhaustion due to “unsafe” levels of atmospheric CO2!
Of course, by that time ASI (Artificial Super-Intelligence) will be omnipresent and ubiquitous and HRH’s “face to face” contact and interaction with it will be with advanced “humanoid robots” – the “androids” of science fiction.
The one thing we can be fairly confident about is that HRH and her brothers will have no problems finding suitable staff to maintain Windsor Castle in tip top order! This because they will be mass produced in factories!
