Can some Prophet please inform the Editor of the seven winning numbers of the Euromillions lottery for any Tuesday or Friday? The Editor needs the money!!!

Please read the comment at the bottom of the article to ascertain the relevance of the above image.
British Gazette readers will remember 2012 as the year in which the Eurozone did NOT collapse and the world did NOT end on Friday 21st December, 2012 – the day the Editor did NOT win the Euromillions lottery!
Well it seems from the utterances doom-mongers and soothsayers that the End Of The World (as we know it?) that 2013 is going to be a year in which many from the ranks of the gullible and weak minded will be getting rather worried. Why?
Well according to some commentators three prophetic sources appear to converge on the month of December when “The End” occurs.
The news that Pope Benedict XVI is resigning as Pontiff makes him the first since Pope Gregory XII (1406–1415) resigned in 1415 in order to end the Western Schism to do so.
The Pope’s resignation has brought about a whole load of daft speculation from End of the World enthusiasts because of the papal prophecies of St. Malachy [The First Source]. St. Malachy, the first Irish saint, had a vision of the popes from his time to the “End of the World.” In 1139, Malachy travelled to Rome from Ireland to give an account of his affairs. While in Rome, Malachy received a vision about the future which included the name of every pope, 112 in total, from his time until the “End of the World.”
Guess what? Pope Benedict XVI is the 267th Pontiff and 11th on Malachy’s list! That means there is one more to go and to borrow a phrase from the end of the excellent Tom and Jerry cartoons, “That’s it Folks!”
OK then, what did Malachy say about the last few Popes?
Pope number 263 (107 on the list) was described as Paſtor & nauta (Shepherd and sailor). The Pope was John XXIII (1958–1963) Angelo Giuseppe Roncalli, Patriarch of Venice, a maritime city (and a former naval power), from 1953 until 1958 (when he was elected Pope)
Pope number 264 (108 on the list) was described as Flos florum (Flower of flowers). The Pope was Paul VI (1963–1978) Giovanni Battista Enrico Antonio Maria Montini. His coat of arms featured three fleurs-de-lis.
Pope number 265 (109 on the list) was described as De medietate lunæ (From the midst of the moon). The Pope was John Paul I (1978) Albino Luciani. His month-long reign began with the moon half-full
Pope number 266 (110 on the list) was described as De labore solis (From the labour of the sun). The Pope was John Paul II (1978–2005) Karol Wojtyła. He was born on 18th May 1920 the day of a solar eclipse and entombed on Friday 8th April 2005 the day of another solar eclipse.
Pope number 267 (111 on the list) was described as Gloria olivæ (Glory of the olive). The present Pope is Benedict XVI (2005–2013) Joseph Ratzinger. He chose the regnal name Benedict after St Benedict of Nursia, founder of the Benedictine Order. The order’s crest contains an olive branch. Since 1960, one of (currently) 20 congregations in the Benedictine Confederation has been the Olivetans (founded in 1313), whose name ultimately derives from the Mount of Olives in the New Testament.
So, how does Malachy describe Pope number 268 (112 and last on his list)? Answer: Petrus Romanus (Peter the Roman) Malachy states of him: “…..who will nourish the sheep in many tribulations; when they are finished, the city of seven hills will be destroyed, and the dreadful judge will judge his people. The end.”
Oh Dear! Editor’s note to self and another: Buy double size coffin (for the Editor and a certain lady friend who is not his wife!) made of asbestos cement and have undertaker pack rock wool around bodies! Screw coffin lid down tight! Undertaker to make sure that screw heads are obliterated making removal of coffin lid impossible!
So, is there anyone “in the running” so to speak who might fit that description?
Well, yes there is!
According to the bookmakers Cardinal Peter Turkson is the favourite to take over as pontiff. Some London bookmakers believe he’s the top choice. Odds comparison site Oddschecker.com lists Turkson at best price odds of 4/1, and as short as 2/1 with some firms.
So who is this man?
Well he sounds like a jolly good chap.
Cardinal Turkson, 64, was born in Wassaw Nsuta in western Ghana to a Methodist mother and Catholic father. As a child, he entered the seminary and later moved to New York to study at St. Anthony-on-Hudson Seminary in Rensselaer. Cardinal Turkson was ordained as a priest in 1975.
Cardinal Turkson is currently president of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace (Justitia et Pax) – part of the Roman Curia – thus “Peter the Roman.”
Within Africa, members of the Catholic religion and clergy are rapidly growing. There are around 176 million Catholics in Africa according to a study conducted by the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life in December 2011. While the numbers within the Catholic Church continue to rise in Africa, the number of Catholics in Europe has decreased in the last several years.
Cardinal Turkson (unlike some of the clergy from other denominations – including my own; Methodist) is it seems is prepared to “tell it as it is” and is prepared to land himself in “hot water.” The Cardinal caused an uproar at the Vatican last October by screening a YouTube video that makes some shocking predictions about the massive growth of Islam in Europe. The seven-minute video, titled “Muslim Demographics,” was the talk of an international gathering of bishops after Cardinal Turkson screened it during a free discussion period. Among the claims made in it: “In just 39 years France will be an Islamic republic.”
Of course, there are many who will deem that by making this video the Cardinal will have effectively removed himself from consideration for the top job. However, as readers will suspect because of where he hails from, Cardinal Turkson is black – well dark brown actually.
Were he to be elected pontiff this is sure to put the backs of certain followers of another religion up!
Of course, the Roman Catholic church in general, and the clergy and the laity in Africa in particular have no truck with the novel idea espoused by such David Cameron and his ilk that people of the same sex can get married!
OK then, what about the so called second source?
Well the second source is our old friend Nostradamus!
Quatrain VI-6
Appearing towards le Septentrion [Ursa Major],
Not far from Cancer (June-July) the bearded star [comet]:
Susa (Piedmont), Siena (Italy), Boetia (Thebes), Eretria, (Euboea)
Death of the great Roman, the night [it] over.
Interestingly, we are due to witness a most spectacular comet this year. Watch the YouTube video (below)
from NASA – ISON appeared near or in the constellation Cancer.
ISON is what’s known as a Sungrazer comet, and as it makes it’s hairpin turn around our Sun on November 28th, it’ll be just 1.2 million miles (0.013 AU) from the Sun’s fiery surface. This still sounds like a huge distance but at 1.2 million miles, It is entirely possible that the comet will not survive and plunge into the sun itself. If it survives its passage around the sun, it may not be in one piece. Furthermore, its out-bond trajectory is not certain. As it makes this death-defying turn around the Sun, ice and rock will be spewed from ISON’s surface making it sport a tail that stretches far beyond that of Hale-Bopp’s. Secondly, on December 26th ISON is projected to come within 40,000,000 miles of our planet which is less than half the distance that Hale-Bopp did in ’97.
And the third source?
Well its our old friend the Mayan Calendar! According to Susan Lynne Schwenger & Tony Bermanseder the Mayan Calendar cycle ends on 16th December, 2013. We quote:
The answer to the calendar mystery has been found there is only one date that satisfies all old ancient calendars – and, calendar cycles (except The Gregorian Calander which wasn’t created until 1572).
The Aztec Tonalphonualli Calendar (260=13×20),
The Haab Calendar (360 +5),
The Tzolkin Calendar (260),
The Cherokee Calendar (260),
The First Nations Calendar (360), now, it is in sync with The 365/366 Gregorian Calendar
The Metis Calendar (360), now it is in sync with The 365/366 Gregorian Calendar
The Native American Calendar (360), now it is in sync with The 365/366 Gregorian Calendar
The Ancient Year Calendar (360), which operated in a full circle of 360 days (sunrise, and, sunsets)
and, it has a 1 degree per day advancement aka processional cycle, and it is the true length of a real year.
(1 x 360=360=A full circle or calendar round).
The 47th Ahua of a sequence of 65 ahua dates is 21st December 2012, The end of Macha (female) cycle- and, 22 Dec 2012 is The Start of Pacha (male) – and, it ends 360 days later… 22nd December 2012 to 16th December 2013 – is 360 days – the correct length of the ancient year
– The 16th December 2013 is The 65th Ahua in a cycle of 65, and, 9,360,360=65×144,000+6 cycles x 60 = 9,360,360 and, 9,360,000/360 =26,000 Years to The Grand Cycle 360/360=1 Year
– All known ancient & old calendars can be calibrated successfully to this date.
There are also Old Calenders of The Cree, Ojibway-Ojibwa-Ojibwe, Blackfeet, Ottawa Alconquin, etc.,
that are also 260 Days in length, and, align to Full Moon Cycles.
The Current Grand Cycle, is The 12th Grand Cycle of Macha & Pacha which ends 16 Dec 2013 at sunset.
The 13th Grand Cycle of Pacha iNTi starts 17 DEC 2013 at sunrise, on the date of The Full Moon, that starts The Winter Cycle on The Ancient Calendar which is still used by First Nation – Metis- Native Americans related to their New Moon and Full Moon Ceremony & Cycles utilised for an assortment of purposes, and, reasons for their Ceremonial Practices.
This is the one calendar, that most people forgot about – this is very likely because the dates on it, shift with The Gregorian Calendar, although, the appearances of new, and, of full moon happens right on time. Also, it is only on The Gregorian Calendar that 24 hrs in a day exists, in the ancient calendar, the length of a day, shifted daily, as, well as, the time of the sunrise, and, the sunset shifts daily.
The Ancient Calendar flows through 6 cycles of 60 or 360 days – it is, always to be started in The Last Full Moon of December, which is called The Winter Cycle.
The six cycles are known as: Winter, Spring, Break Up, Summer, Fall & Freeze Up, and, the 6 cycles are spaced 60 days apart.
The Grand Cycle of Pacha iNTi does NOT begin until The 17th of December, 2013 at sunrise.
This formula can be proven mathematically & scientifically – through full, new, black, and, blue moon phases using cosmic time.
British Gazette comment: The end of the world has been predicted many times in the past and the Editor is firmly of the opinion that these doom-laden spoutings will turn out like all the others. The Editor fully expects to be living and breathing on Planet Earth on Monday 4th August 2014 when we will be commemorating the 100th anniversary of the declaration of war by the British Empire on Imperial Germany. Besides, the Editor does not believe that the Almighty will decide to “call time” on the great experiment that is humanity’s existence on Earth.
Consider this; as well as entertaining films about comets impacting the Earth, we have science fiction films that have humans crossing the vast distances of interstellar space – and generally meeting aliens that look just like them and even speaking English with Californian accents! This is clearly nonsensical. But consider this: You may find yourself from time to time walking on a clear starry night: You look up to the heavens above and may fantasise about being able to travel across those vast distances and to actually see another planet that is orbiting another star from orbit [of same]. You might even [bio-security being possible] be able to walk upon the surface of such a planet. To us this is and will remain a fantasy. As it will for our children and their children. But one day, in the far future, it will be possible. Now consider this: Our ancestors over thousands of years will when they have been walking around have looked up to the sky and have seen a bird in flight. They will have fantasised about what it would be like to be able to fly, hundreds, thousands of feet above the Earth’s surface. To be able to look down and see the clouds far below them and below that, the fields and the towns and the cities further below them. This was for them a fantasy. For us, for the purchase of an airline ticket, it is a reality. Understand this: anyone who has flown on an aircraft has been privileged to have experienced something that our ancestors could only fantasise about. It is the Editor’s belief that the Human Race has a Great Journey ahead of it and is firmly of the opinion that Almighty God will allow it to complete that journey.
