A most unfortunate matter.

Readers will know well my opinion of the British Brainwashing Commissariat!

However, nothing or nobody is all bad. There are some gems amongst the dross!

Here is one: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/disability-65422489

It is a distressing tale of a disabled lady who desirous of some enjoyment that is something enjoyed by many, but previously denied her, decided to employ the services of a “sex worker”.

It is distressing for a number of reasons:

Firstly, the mere facts of the matter.

This lady’s unfortunate situation is made all the worse of course as not only has she got to face the moral opprobrium of some censorious individuals, she faces the prospect (following the election of a Labour government) of a prosecution for an unlawful sexual activity – offering money or monies-worth to obtain a sexual service. This would land the poor lady with a fine, a criminal record and all the additional costs (insurance) plus difficulties obtaining rented accommodation and employment that would ensue.

Of course, this lady is not the target of the misandry that lies behind the campaign to criminalise paying for sex but to an authoritarian regime which by statute, defines all persons accepting payment for offering a sexual service as victims declaring, by statute, that they can possess no other status in law other than that of victim and cannot therefore be regarded in law as offering the service of their own free will. Such an act would be legislating miscarriages of justice.

It is not the state’s job to act as arbiter and judge as to which adult consents to have sex with which adult. It is however the state’s job to act in such a manner that protects public health, therefore legislation to ensure that sex workers and their clientele are registered and regulated and made subject to regular medical examination/testing is within the purview of the state.

Let us face facts. This unfortunate lady is an exception. Most of the customers of “sex workers” are philandering husbands who are unlikely to be informing their wives of their activities. It is the job of the Home Secretary, the Right Honourable Suella Braverman PC, KC and the Member for Fareham to see that the law strives to protect the innocent wives from the wayward behaviour of such philandering rouges and are thus protected to some extent against contracting a “social disease”.
