The latest declaration by a certain Boris Johnson involving comparisons with Hitler and the EU is yet another instance of an “argumentum ad absurdum” there is a general rule in European politics that whoever deploys a Hitler analogy automatically looses the argument at that stage – no matter how accurate or inaccurate that analogy may be. In other words: for an intelligent experienced European politician, deliberately deploying the Hitler analogy is a deliberate own goal!
So the British Gazette is forced to ask the question that the Almighty asked of Job:
Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge? (Job 38 v.2)
This organ would ask a further question: Why?
It is wrong merely to react and state such as: “The man is an idiot!” This is because Mr Boris Johnson may be many things. But the one thing we can be sure of is that he is most certainly not an idiot!
Let us therefore be sensible and use our Common Sense.
Let us look at the FACTS and from these FACTS draw a logical conclusion.
FACT 1: the consequences of a Brexit vote on Thursday 23rd June 2016 will be serious!
FACT 2: the consequences of a Brexit vote on Thursday 23rd June 2016 will occur very shortly afterwards!
The initial consequences will be on the financial markets. They will be NEGATIVE. This is because the European Union and the Eurozone can be likened to a House of Cards – could collapse suddenly!
This is why two such unlikely bedfellows as Mr Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China, President of the People’s Republic of China, and Chairman of China’s Central Military Commission and Mr Barack Obama 44th President of the United States have both made interventions in the Brexit debate advocating a Remain vote on 23rd June 2016.
FACT 3: The reasons why the British People should Vote Leave on Thursday 23rd June 2016 are the same reasons that Mr Mahatma Gandhi put forward to the Indian people to campaign for independence for India: Because it is the Right Thing to Do!
FACT 4: To date, the Leave campaign has been subject to a level of general incompetence and poor direction that is of surreal proportions.
FACT 5: No major figure in the Leave Campaign is advocating the one viable Brexit strategy, Doctor Richard North’s FLEXCIT!
CONCLUSION: That there are those in the Leave campaign who secretly do not want Brexit to take place.
