Being an 11+ failure and leaving secondary school with CSE’s – all-be-them Grade 1 – the graduate educated Islington wokeists that form the Unfortunate Starmer’s constituency party’s committee will doubtless be completely unsurprised to learn that there are many things that my feeble intellect does not understand!

You see, I can’t fathom for the life of me why elderly and middle aged, non athletic persons of either gender – or whatever imaginary gender they may have deluded themselves into believing they are – would want to go on such a cruise!
I speak from a perspective of related experience: During the latter half of the 1980s and the first half of the 1990s I was a professional photographer and one of the types of photography I did was glamour photography. This entailed photographing professional models (female) on lingerie, “topless” (“Page Three” style) and nude shoots. All the woman were young and very attractive.
In the 1980s most of these women were significantly younger than me with only a very few close to my age. In the 1990s nearly all were significantly younger than me with only one of them close to my age. With the exception of that one lady, all the women will have reached middle age and some nearing the time when they will collect their state pension. I know there are charity fundraising efforts along the lines of the famous “Calender Girls” but quite frankly – IMHO – these ladies have reached that point in their lives when what they did in front of my camera lens is NOT something they should consider doing now.
Of course, what goes for the goose must also go for the gander!
As we blokes age many/most of us acquire a condition called “middle aged spread”. Many of us will loose muscle tone – a natural process where the body adapts itself to cope with organs such as the heart that cannot provide the oxygen to the muscle tissue in the quantities it used to. Therefore the body adjusts itself automatically.
So were one to go aboard such a vessel one would have a very unattractive prospect of seeing a ship load of human beings who may when they were in their twenties have resembled the fabled Aphrodite and Adonis but don’t any longer!
So….. Why would one put oneself through the utter embarrassment – for all concerned – of walking around a cruise ship in one’s birthday suit?
As I mentioned, of all the beautiful ladies I photographed, there is only one I can call to mind who could go on such a cruise without undue embarrassment. Were she to ask me to join her on such, my answer would be an emphatic no!
I have the same perplexity of understanding insofar as our elected politicians are concerned!
The Unfortunate Starmer is desperate to replace the Unfortunate Sunak in the role of His Majesty’s Prime Minister!
Why?
The job is the very definition of a poison chalice!
In a speech today (https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/uk-politics-69001479), the Unfortunate Sunak states “the next few years will be some of the most dangerous yet most transformational our country has ever known” and goes on to state that: “more will change in the next five years than in the last 30”.
He is NOT wrong!
The UK however is very ill equipped to take advantage of these changes!
Why?
– Our electrical power infrastructure is inadequate and far to expensive.
– The economic and financial benefits will be garnered by those who have invested in ADI, the so-called “robots” and have electrical power in the necessary quantity at the necessary economical cost!
If and when he gets his wish and the Unfortunate Starmer becomes the next occupant in #10 he will spend the next five years berating his predecessors to landing the UK – and him and his government into the dire straits they – and us – will be in!
