Above left, we have the Right Honourable Jacinda Ardern, His Majesty’s first Prime Minister of New Zealand but New Zealand’s fortieth. Above centre we have Respected Comrade, Marshal of the Republic, Kim Jong-un, the General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and left? Well I was not going to upload an image of a example of an ugly person would I? The far left refers not to a person but a possible truth: An ugly truth!
Now clearly, there is a vast difference in the personalities and the policies pursued by the leaders of these two Pacific states!
However, both leaders desire the following from their citizens:
#1: That they obey all the laws (local and national) of their respective states.
#2: That the are productive members of their nation’s society.
There is a third, but one which is followed to an excessive degree by Marshal of the Republic Kim! This is that the citizens support the leaders in the policies they enact!
With Prime Minister Arden, support is entirely voluntary and extends to making supportive comments in public and voting for her party at all elections. It is to be stressed that there are NO adverse consequences for citizens who do not do this!
With Marshal of the Republic Kim however, support is compulsory and extends to making adulatory comments in private and in public at every possible opportunity! It cannot be stressed too highly that there are very serious consequences for citizens who do not do this!
However, it is (to me) very, very curious that there are two policies that Prime Minister Arden and Marshal of the Republic Kim appear to agree on! That is the policy of anthropogenic global warming! Although it is to be said that Marshal of the Republic Kim merely pays lip service to this!
Now BG readers will know that I have adopted an attitude that many regard as complete lunacy – that the world’s governments are banging on about CO2 because something is happening which MIGHT include aliens aka, extra terrestrials in the not too distant future.
However a gentleman by the name of Douglas B. Vogt has another theory!
Herewith a hypertext link to a You Tube video in which Mr Vogt put forward his theories. Mr Vogt believes that the sun is the cause. It is highly informative, but understand that the video is 1 hour and 41 minutes in length.

Before you listen to Mr Vogt’s claims however, you may appreciate a much shorter (3 minute) read of another US gentleman a Mr Hugh Ross (https://reasons.org/explore/blogs/todays-new-reason-to-believe/one-uniquely-smooth-regular-and-stable-star) who has a far more optimistic vision!
Mr Vogt (unlike Mr Ross) is NOT a bearer of good news! He is the bearer of very bad news! However, Mr Vogt makes the point that I have made in previous blog-posts: That IF something very bad is going to take place and the politicians cannot do anything to stop it then they are most concerned to keep their citizens calm because they do not want to loose control and have civil disorder!
Now there are two factors I would like to draw to your attention Dear Reader:
There is no Wikipedia article about Douglas B Vogt. There is however an article about a Canadian journalist Doug Vogt.
The “climate change” brigade are stressing 2050. This suggests to me that the “powers that be” MIGHT know that something is going to happen on or shortly before that date.
Mr Vogt suggests something will happen before the end of 2046.
Mr Vogt suggests a date and on that day I will (if still alive) be over 91 years of age.
Mr Vogt’s theory, IF CORRECT, would explain a great deal. This would tend to make a logical case for wind turbines! They are cheap in terms of capital cost but their service lives are short. But IF they only have to last until 2050?
IF Mr Vogt’s theory is correct then I reckon that there will be members of the global elite who will have made plans! Whatever these plans might be I know one thing: they will be secret!
Editor’s summing up: The end of the world (as we know it) has been predicted many times throughout the centuries and many gullible people have fallen for the claims only to emerge embarrassed afterwards! l’ve given Mr Vogt’s claims “blog-time” due principally to the fact that we still have no idea why so many politicians across the world are persisting with the notion that CO2 is a problem when it is not.
