Following on from my last post on 4 March 2026 (https://british-gazette.com/success-has-many-fathers-failure-is-an-orphan-ii/) on the topic of the Gulf War 3.0 – the BBC reports https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/cd70wzw9vqlt#player on developments that indicate that the US war plan might not be going too well.
However, based on what has gone before, I speculate that Messrs Trump, Hegseth & Rubio may, recognising the validity of the old adage that “the [war] plan never survives contact with the enemy”; have decided on a novel strategy and to commence hostilities WITHOUT a worked up plan!
As for further speculation about the war aims of the Trump administration; I would suggest that one should ask the Israeli government (https://www.gov.il/en).
