– Doctor Richard North again applies his knife to cut through the miasma of misinformation presented to us by the mainstream media.
Again, with the mastery of his brief and applied with his attention to detail the learned Doctor presents his readers (which are many with their numbers growing by the day and which include a number of “significant persons”) with a meticulous breakdown of the whys and wherefores of the seeming inevitable chaos – the like of which he reminds us all that we have signally failed to comprehend the size of – that will descend upon this benighted country shortly after 11:00PM on Friday 29th March 2019.
Logical examination would appear to conclude that what Doctor North fears will take place.
AND YET……..
A dozen miles or so south of the EU’s HQ in Brussels there is the 1815 Monument to the allied victory at Waterloo. Which brings us to why we have chosen to head up the article with Abba’s hit single.
This is because the EU may present Madame Mayhem with a withdrawal agreement. It will be one drawn up by themselves with NO British participation. It’s terms will be severe. They will be:
#1: Continued membership of the EU Customs Union.
#2: Continued membership of the EEA under the aegis of the European Court of Justice.
#3: Payment of the agreed severance money.
#4: Continued payment into the EU confers for participation in the EU Customs Union and the EEA.
#5: The withdrawal agreement will terminate at 11:00PM on Thursday 31st December 2020 but the UK could apply for an extension period – the length and terms of which would be negotiated with the EU Commission – up to that time.
This withdrawal agreement will essentially comprise an instrument of unconditional surrender. In signing it, Madame Mayhem will make the first steps along a road to perdition that will entail placing the instrument of unconditional surrender before the House of Commons and the House of Lords and asking them to ratify it into law! If this instrument of unconditional surrender receives the Royal Assent – that will of course constitute the felony crime of Treason – it will cause the UK to enter what the British Gazette has termed “Purgatory”.
Having entered Purgatory the UK will be faced with FIVE choices. They are:
#1: To remain in Purgatory indefinitely.
#2: To negotiate entry into the EEA and to leave the EU Customs Union.
#3: To renegotiate re-entry into the EU and Entry into the Eurozone.
#4: To negotiate a Free Trade Agreement and leave the EU Customs Union and the EEA.
#5: To leave Purgatory without any agreement and suffer a “hard Brexit”.
The British Gazette is of the opinion that Madame Mayhem will choose to negotiate a continuation of Purgatory until the General Election on Thursday 5th May 2022.
It does not require much in the way of imagination to guess what slogan UKIP will come up with: “Brexit delayed is Brexit denied!”
The reason for the EU’s actions is perfectly simple and is partially understood by Dimwit Davis: That a “no deal” Brexit hurts the EU as well as the UK. One can therefore be certain that the EU member state that will be most affected by Brexit – the Irish Republic – will insist that the UK be presented with a workable agreement that can be signed by Madame and ratified by the UK Parliament to avoid the inevitable chaos that will take place otherwise.
You see, the reason why we have chosen to quote Dickens is that procrastination is precisely what Her Majesty’s Government has been doing since Midsummer’s Day 2016!
The FACT of the matter is that notwithstanding the mainstream media’s assertion to the contrary, there has been NO effective negotiation between the EU and the UK!
As a result, the requirements of good governance requires the EU to offer the UK a workable text to sign!
This is why the British Gazette will insist that this comprises an instrument of unconditional surrender because the coterie of imbéciles that Madame leads has abandoned it’s responsibilities to negotiate Brexit!
WHY?
Because the Leave campaign either lied or were deluded. They (including UKIP) proffered a fantasy Brexit. There has only be ONE realistic, practical Brexit strategy. That is Flexcit authored by Doctor Richard North and others.
That was true on Wednesday 13th April 2016 when the Electoral Commission announced that Vote Leave was the official leave campaign.
That was true on Thursday 23rd June 2016 when the British People went to the polling stations.
That was true on Wednesday 29rd March 2017 when HMG triggered Article 50.
It is true today and it will be true at 11:00PM on Friday 29th March 2019.
