Intelligence in government: The Chameleon meets with HM The Queen.

Some British Gazette readers have their doubts about the competence of the present government. Herewith details of a meeting with HM the Queen and her Prime Minister, the Chameleon!
The Chameleon asked her, “Your Majesty, how do you run Buckingham Palace so efficiently? Is there any advice you can give to me now that my government is falling to pieces?”
“Well,” said the Queen, “It is of course MY government. Not yours! Leaving that aside however, the most important thing is to surround yourself with intelligent people.”
The Chameleon frowned, and asked, “But how do I know the people around me are really intelligent?”
The Queen took a sip of tea. “Oh, that’s easy; you just ask them to prove their intelligence by answering a simple riddle.” She rang a little bell and a livered footman entered. “Please find Sir Christopher and send him here, would you?
Sir Christopher Edward Wollaston MacKenzie Geidt, KCB, KCVO, OBE, is the Private Secretary to HM the Queen – since September 2007.
After a little while Sir Christopher walked into the room, bowed and said, “Yes, Your Majesty?”
The Queen smiled and said, “Answer me this please Sir Christopher, your mother and father have a child. It’s not your brother and it’s not your sister. Who is it?”
Without pausing for a moment, Sir Christopher replied, “That would be me.” “Yes! Very good,” said the Queen. “You may go.”
When The Chameleon returned to 10 Downing Street, he summoned George Osborne the Chancellor of the Exchequer and asked him the same question. “Osborne old fellow, answer this for me. Your mother and your father have a child. It’s not your brother and it’s not your sister. Who is it?”
“I’m not sure Camers old chap,” said Osborne “Let me get back to you on that one….”
He went to his advisers and asked every one, but nobody could give him an answer.
Finally, he ran into Donald Trump in a restaurant one evening. Osborne said to him, “Donald, can you answer this for me? Your mother and father have a child and it’s not your brother or your sister. Who is it?”
Trump answered back immediately, “That’s easy, it’s me!”
George smiled, and said, Hey thanks, Don!”
Then, he went back to speak with The Chameleon. “Camers old chap, I did some research and I have the answer to that riddle and do you know what? It’s Donald Trump!”
The Chameleon got up, walked over to Osborne, slapped him on the side of his head and angrily yelled at him, “No you blithering dimwit! Can’t you answer even the simplest of questions? It’s Sir Christopher Geidt!”
