Above, the Schrödinger equation.
Today we are deeply indebted to the learned Doctor Richard North who has brilliantly coined the term; “Schrödinger’s Brexit” (one that cannot exist in the framework set by the real world) to the present mess the UK is in!
Herewith below his blog post.

For those unacquainted with quantum mechanics, herewith a brief explanation of Schrödinger’s cat.
A cat, a flask of poison, and a radioactive source are placed in a sealed box. If an internal monitor (e.g. Geiger counter) detects radioactivity (i.e. a single atom decaying), the flask is shattered, releasing the poison, which kills the cat. The Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics – applied to everyday objects such as a cat – implies that after a while, the cat is simultaneously alive and dead. Yet, when one looks in the box, one sees the cat either alive or dead not both alive and dead. This poses the question of when exactly quantum superposition ends and reality collapses into one possibility or the other. Schrödinger coined the term Verschränkung (entanglement) to describe this situation.
Applied to Brexit; for the cat, substitute the UK economy. For the internal monitor replace a Geiger counter with the Confederation of British Industry. For radioactivity, replace a single atom decaying with transport disruption on the M2. For the flask which is shattered, replace with “Operation Stack”. For the dead cat, replace with the death of the prospects for Madame Mayhem remaining in office for longer than a month.
But that of course is one reality. The other reality is postulated below;
