The Israeli West Bank barrier is being built by the Israeli government along the 1949 Armistice Line (“Green Line”). Upon completion, its total length will be about 430 miles.
It will be with wry satisfaction that many British Gazette readers will greet the news that Germaine Greer the Australian academic and writer is facing to possibility of being barred from giving a lecture at Cardiff University as even she has now been accused of that heinous crime, political in-correctness!

Ms Greer’s “offence” seems to be contained in her statement that surgery does not turn a man into a woman. According to the Guardian report, a certain Rachael Melhuish who glories under the Orwellian job title “Women’s Officer” – we thought that “WO” stood for Warrant Officer – Ed – has declared that Ms Greer has “demonstrated misogynistic views towards trans women, including continually misgendering trans women and denying the existence of transphobia altogether”.
Well, we’ll go to the bottom of us steps!
So according to Woman’s Officer Melhuish, Ms Greer’s offences include something called “misgendering” and another of denying the existence of transphobia!
Well! My late maiden aunt would have had to have these two things explained to her as she would have little idea of what Woman’s Officer Melhuish would be talking about!
Of course, Ms Greer’s “little local difficulty” with Cardiff University serves as an excellent example of the massive problems contained in many of the chickens coming home to roost for those in the political establishment running Barmy Britain.
You see on the one hand we have many (not all) Muslims who see Mr Anjem Choudary as a splendid fellow who talks a lot of sense and then we have those such as Woman’s Officer Melhuish!
And in the middle, we have Desperate Dave (Cameron) running around like the proverbial blue arsed fly (he is a Tory) shouting from the Palace of Westminster roof tops; “Problem? What is a problem?”
So what does the future hold for this country?

Speaking the Truth unto the Nation

I did read an interesting article on the Truth Seeker site, by a trans-gender woman who admitted how unhappy their life had become because of this change, that effectively left then in the middle of nowhere. It would seem this miserable situation is quite common but, is yet another ‘truth that dare not speak its name’.
