Why?
Herewith a link to the website (https://cop30.br/en) of the COP30 meeting where the elites fly in by corporate/government/private jets to pronounce that the ordinary people must stop going on budget/charter flights to their holiday destinations, stop using their private cars and use public transport (aircraft excepting) and start walking or using a bicycle!
Results?
The elite want to return us to the glamorous days of the early 1960s when the middle and upper classes travelled by commercial aircraft. They deprecate the present day where airport terminals are peopled by the same sort of people seen at bus stations! They want to return to the days portrayed in the classic film/movie “The V.I.P.s” (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_V.I.P.s_(film)).
