Originally aired on Wednesday evening 29th June 1983 this particular satirical episode is now most apposite to the threats of doom, disaster and untold poverty offered by a whole precession of the establishment figures that the EU can count upon.
British Gazette readers will of course recognise that the role of the dying Duke of Winchester is now taken by the British People with such as Nigel Farage occupying the role King Richard IV of England and a whole stream of international luminaries occupying the role of Archbishop of Canterbury! The last luminary to put on the mitre was President Obama. Now it’s Hillary’s turn!

There are still another 60 days to Thursday 23rd June 2016. Doubtless in that time the Chameleon will manage to prevail upon yet more luminaries to play the role of Archbishop of Canterbury threatening the most horrible and dire eternal torment!
Speaking the Truth unto the Nation
According to some of the press today, Obama has ensured we will now vote to stay in, cowardly Cameron must be walking on air.
However, since his speech that we will be at the back of the queue, I wonder just how many ‘ordinary folk’ have been angered by this offensive threat, because they are the ones I am meeting. The comments were not even about Ob’s Kenyan ancestry, more a case of questioning his parentage! One chap who so far has not discussed with me his feelings either way, told me yesterday, he doesn’t give a Jack s..t about Obama’s opinion and ended with other expletives and assuring me he is now for leaving. Am I alone in encountering this response to his intervention?
