Above, from the start of Mission: Impossible the US television series created by Bruce Geller and aired on the CBS network from September 1966 to March 1973.
One has to feel sorry you know for poor David Chameleon and his lady sidekick Amber Rudd. For they too have been set an impossible mission by U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon who has told them to set off an “energy revolution” to rein in heat-trapping carbon emissions and avert disastrous global warming. Warning that “the clock is ticking towards climate catastrophe,” he told them that world expects more from them than “half-measures.”
Oh Dear!!!!!!
As British Gazette readers well know, the mission they have been given is IMPOSSIBLE as CO2 is not a a cause of “global warming” but an indicator of it! Thus any measures they seek to put in place will not work, ending in course in failure!
British Gazette readers also know that the whole Glow Bull Warning nonsense is a scam. Because of this, poor Chameleon and Rudd share one thing with the fictional heroes: As it says on the tape:
“Should you or a member of your force be caught [defrauding the public when the scam is eventually rumbled?], the [UN] Secretary [General] will disavow any knowledge of your actions…..”
Oh Dear!!!!!!!
This brings us to an interesting question: Who will end up carry the can (slop bucket? – Ed.) for this?
