The Editor's New Year's message: 2015

Above the star of the Grand Cross British Empire.
Normally the British Gazette’s New Year’s Day article is a brief one featuring the festivities in Sydney, New South Wales (where the Editor’s cousin lives).
However, having been passed over – YET AGAIN – for a knighthood (See: http://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2014/dec/30/-sp-new-years-honours-2015-full-list), the Editor feels that a substantive article is justified.
On the subject of the Editor’s “K” he feels that First Class British Empire (Knight Grand Cross) is the most suitable. After all, the Editor has pointed out since 2009 that British sovereignty does not exist and that the danger to the planet from CO2 does not exist. It therefore seems fitting (not to mention logical) that he should be invested in an order of knighthood of something that does not exist – the British Empire!
Now let us address the issue of the level of CO2 in the planet’s atmosphere:
The present level can be found by visiting the following website: http://co2now.org/Current-CO2/CO2-Now/global-co2-board.html
Now, let us round up the figure to 400 parts per million – to make the maths (or the singular “Math” if you are American) simpler.
Now it does not take someone as clever as Roger Helmer (who has a degree in maths) to do this simple calculation:
400 parts in 1,000,000 is the same as 4 parts in 10,000 which of course is the same as 1 part in 2,500.
According to the Office for National Statistics (ONS), the average man in England is 5 foot 9 inches (That’s 1.75 metres Derek) tall.
One two thousand five hundredth of these figures are 0.024 inches (or 0.7 mm for Derek).
So, what the greenies are getting all hot and bothered about is a slight increase in humanity’s contribution to this figure.
Strange, very strange.
