The news (https://apnews.com/article/russia-ukraine-war-unilateral-truce-parade-9a686273da1f284230180a7819613719) that President Vladimir Putin and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy have agreed to a ceasefire to cover May 9 Victory Day parade in Red Square will be greeted by all.
However: It HAS to be greeted with scepticism. President Putin has stated that if Ukraine breaks the ceasefire, Russia will retaliate.
Given Russia’s actions in the past (going back to the 19th Century) I cannot help but think that Russia will take the opportunity to stage a false flag attack on itself.
You see, President Putin realises that his last and best hope for avoiding an unfortunate retirement from office lies in President Trump!
We all know that President Trump is no supporter of Ukraine and will jump at such a golden opportunity to react negatively (possibly cutting off all US support) to Ukraine.
