
The “Indy” has a report that indicates there is more “bad news” for the man once styled His Royal Highness, The Prince Andrew, Duke of York, Earl of Inverness & Baron Killyleagh, KG, GCVO, (https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/prince-andrew-virginia-giuffre-latest-news-b2849760.html).
At this present moment in time the non release of the documents referred to as “the Epstein Files” in the USA is staving off likely further bad publicity.
Nevertheless, with the prospect of the Metropolitan Police looking into allegations that the man many would like to see henceforth referred to as Mr Andrew [Albert Christian Edward] Mountbatten-Windsor, sought to breach lawful procedure in relation to background checks of the late Virginia Giuffre this man who is currently still in the line of succession to the throne may not be looking to the future with any great degree of optimism!
It appears that Prince Andrew’s future lies in the hands of a certain Donald J. Trump and also the US House of Representatives! This because the release of the “Epstein Files” will shed more light on what might have happened when Prince Andrew travelled to the various locations that Mr Epstein owned.
Prince Andrew is in the uncomfortable position of events being in control of him and not him in control of events.
Prince Andrew is a naval officer so I will draw a nautical analogy. That Prince Andrew is on the bridge of a ship. That the vessel has lost it’s rudder (and therefore has no helm). The engines have ceased to function and the vessel has no power and is drifting. That the vessel is beam onto a Force 10 gale blowing the vessel towards the coastline that is but one nautical mile away. That coastline is a rocky one the rocks of which will tear the vessel apart. That the lifeboats have all gone when the crew abandoned ship and he alone is the last man on board! Furthermore, the vessel has no power and no emergency batteries so he cannot use the VHF radio and call Mayday on Channel 16. The life-rafts will leave him too exposed to the elements.
Prince Andrew goes out on the bridge to use the Aldis lamp to flash “SOS” the Morse code distress signal ( ▄ ▄ ▄ ▄▄▄ ▄▄▄ ▄▄▄ ▄ ▄ ▄ ) – however, the ship has no Aldis lamp as it is a newly constructed merchant vessel from a Chinese yard and one is not fitted!
He goes to the locker box that contains the distress flares: There are none left!
In desperation, he searches for his mobile (cell) phone. But there is NO signal!
However, Prince Andrew will remember his training at Dartmouth: Rule One – Don’t Panic! It is at this point, civilians have difficulty! But not Prince Andrew!
There is time! The ship is not on the rocks yet! As Mr Micawber was oft to say, “Something must turn up!”
Hopefully, not a police officer saying, “You do not have to say anything. But, it may harm your defence if you do not mention when questioned something which you later rely on in court. Anything you do say may be given in evidence.”
Still, Prince Andrew MUST look on the bright side! Because there is ALWAYS one! You see, he is in 2025 and not 1525 – which means that when things really go badly awry one’s neck does not end up on the executioner’s block! A fate that happened to some of his more unfortunate forebears!
