The thoughts of Mr Stupid!

Above, Moi! aka Mr Stupid…. if Ed Miliband is to be believed!

Emily Bootle is the Culture Writer for the i online newspaper and in in this article (https://inews.co.uk/culture/music/proms-survive-lowbrow-classical-music-3171759) states:

“From Rachmaninov’s 2nd to the Planets suite, the most beloved orchestral works are sometimes looked down upon as cheesy. But they’re a staple for the Proms to remain accessible – and for listeners to make new discoveries…….”

Herewith pianist Anna Fedorova playing Rachmaninoff: Piano Concerto no.2 op.18: https://youtu.be/rEGOihjqO9w

Ms Bootle is quite correct although I would have preferred her to replace the PC term “accessible” with the word “profitable”. You see, for the proms or another such venue to be profitable it needs “bums on seats”!

This explains why Classic FM has more listeners than BBC Radio 3!

Classic FM plays music that many like whereas Radio 3 plays music that the brainy highly educated academic friends of Mr Ed Miliband like! And has to be supported by the TV tax as a result!

Of course, in so far as “climate change” is concerned, Mr Miliband would have us believe that Planet Earth is going to Hell in a handcart, whereas a certain Mr Neil Oliver (https://youtu.be/UClNATGgLgw) tends to suggest that it might be the seemingly Unfortunate Mr Milband could be heading into that place that His late Majesty King James I described as that “…….Stygian bottomless pit……..”

A valuable source if FACTUAL information about what is actually happening on Planet Earth in-re the climate is to be found on the YouTube site, Climate Realism by Paul Burgess (https://www.youtube.com/@ClimateRealism/videos). Mr Burgess states: “Here we deal with the science and truth behind the world wide Climate Alarmism scam. We use facts and science to expose the truth.”

BTW, I have CDs of Rachmaninov’s 2nd and Holst’s Planets suite…… But then being 11+ failure Mr Stupid, I would wouldn’t I?
