Some days you remember. Most you do not. Well, I’m speaking for myself here! On Friday 16th September 1994, I celebrated my 39th birthday in a Little Chef on the A19 in North Yorkshire. Alone. The meal? A full English breakfast. I like a full English breakfast! It is one of my favourite meals. With one crucial proviso: I do NOT consume said breakfast before Noon! I simply cannot eat a large meal early in the morning just after getting out of bed. For those of you who suggest I contact my GP and test for bowel cancer or cardio-vascular disease, my answer is this: 1994 is 29 years ago! Ask any medical professional and they will tell you that any person with a malignant tumour who does not present to one of their number and at no time seeks treatment will die. I am not dead – yet! As to cardio-vascular disease, I had my heart attack in 2013 not 1994 and am still here!
Back to the meal! I was feeling quite happy. My business was doing quite well. I was at the time a sole trader. The proprietor of my own business. I was a photographer. I had various strands to my bow however. My main product/service was supplying a Prestinox daylight slide viewer that was built into a black plastic case and was supplied complete with extension leads and different plugs including the old 15 amp round pin, 5 am round two pin and a bayonet adapter for a lamp socket. Also supplied were a complete set of 35mm E6 transparencies and plastic loading magazines. I made no profit on the hardware whatsoever! I sold the items at the price I paid for them!
Why? Was I a charity? No! It was because I was a small trader and purchased the hardware from a distributor, paying cash at the trade counter. I could have purchased the same items at Jessops photographic store but I did not as I was acting as a trade supplier/retailer. The profit came with my professional fees for the photographic service I provided. Supplying the hardware was a means to an end. The businesses that purchased my hardware and service were by and large direct sales companies such as double glazing companies such as Everest. It enables their sales force to make a presentation in people’s homes.
That day I reviewed my business. The business was doing quite well! However in 1994 there were indications of customer resistance. They liked my product and service but there was a problem. They felt that they should transition to the use of computer generated presentations using a lap top computer. At the time these were not as sophisticated and capable as they are today and the Prestinox was still the better solution. But I knew that that would not always be the case. Furthermore there was pressure on my customers to appear to embrace the latest technology. To appear “with it”, “modern”, “up to date” and NOT “behind the times”!
This fear of not being “with it”, “modern”, “up to date” and “behind the times” is the reason why so many firms have “gone woke” – as well as to avoid the bullying from the PC brigade!
Thus I knew that the writing was on the wall for the line that supplied me with most of my income. I had supplied the owners of stately homes with medium format E6 transparencies complete with copyright. However, I had sold off my medium format equipment. This in the 1990s normally would have a stupid thing to do for any professional photographer for it was widely recognised by the general public at that time was that a professional photographer used medium format and the 35mm format was reserved for them – amateurs! However, I had not supplied the stately home owners for some time and I did not do wedding photography. The simple fact of the matter was that with the Prestinox supply, I had no need for medium format. So I sold it.
Thus the following year (1995) I ceased providing photography services and set up a new business; Corneal Clocks and Watches that lasted for another 10 years.
On the day (16th September 1994) I reviewed my situation on my 39th birthday in the Little Chef, thousands of miles to the south, there was a UFO sighting outside Ruwa, Zimbabwe. Sixty-two pupils at the Ariel School aged between six and twelve said that they saw one or more silver craft descend from the sky and land on a field near their school. One or more creatures dressed all in black then approached the children and telepathically communicated to them a message with an environmental theme, frightening the children and causing them to cry.
Ruwa is a town in Mashonaland East Province, Zimbabwe, situated 22 km south-east of the capital Harare on the main Harare-Mutare highway and railway line.

British Gazette comment: There appeared to be glaring deficiencies in the procedures adopted when interviewing the child witnesses. The children were interviewed in a group and not individually. However there are three logical conclusions to be drawn:
#1: the children (and some adults) were making the whole thing up.
#2: the children were imagining things.
#3: the incident was genuine and actually took place.
For the purposes of this blog-post, I am going to make the assumption that #3 was the case.
The report says the children were frightened by the environmental message. I would suggest that since the communication was said to be telepathic, whatever the message was the children would have been frightened! This for the most obvious of reasons: that haring an actual voice “in your head” would frighten anyone adult or child!
Putting to one side the inevitable fear inculcated in the children, that the message was about the “environment” is extremely important and telling.
This because in on 21 March 1994, the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change came into force (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Nations_Framework_Convention_on_Climate_Change). The UNFCCC established an international environmental treaty to combat “dangerous human interference with the climate system”, in part by stabilizing greenhouse gas concentrations in the atmosphere. It was signed by 154 states at the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED), informally known as the Earth Summit, held in Rio de Janeiro from 3 to 14 June 1992. Its original secretariat was in Geneva but relocated to Bonn in 1996.
I am making a big presumption here: That the UFO/UAP phenomenon and the claims surrounding anthropogenic global warming are linked. This applies whether or not the claims surrounding anthropogenic global warming are real or fake.
Why?
Because what we are witnessing is an unprecedented degree of consensus about the claims surrounding anthropogenic global warming although different UN member states are pursing different strategies and making progress towards the common goal (of reducing “greenhouse gases”) at different paces.
What we have witnessed is a situation where the government of China and the government of India and the government of Greece agree with the government of Japan and the government of Pakistan and the government of Turkey on the issue of the claims surrounding anthropogenic global warming. This is remarkable as the first three nations cordially dislike the second three nations!
You see, one needs to invent a serious threat (climate change and the devastation of Planet Earth) to be able to invite the ETs to help humanity, or a good reason for the ETs to make themselves known and to intervene.
IMHO I think we might be witnessing a possible “divide and rule” policy here with a high advanced ET seeking to “divide and if not rule, influence”! You see, this would explain the apparently lunatic obsession of the UK government and it’s cheerleader the official opposition, to reach Net Zero by 2050 and to press on with banning what are now referred to as ICE cars ASAP!
Such an apparently economically suicidal policy would make perfect sense if the level of let us suppose “technology transfer” bestowed upon the UK by the ETs would be greater than had the government not pursued “Net Zero” with such enthusiasm!
In other words, the ETs will reward nations “leading” on the path towards Net Zero. Of course this will apply more to small powers like the UK whereas the large powers such as China and India will not have to meet the same standards.
Here we could speculate about the good old “carrot and stick” policy! The carrot and the stick in the is case being the same: Technology transfer. The carrot being much technology transfer the stick being little technology transfer!
This technology is unlikely to be directly in the area of military technology. Given the prominence of the climate change issue, advanced technology to aid Net Zero is an obvious one! Presumably something like fusion power and room temperature super-conductivity would be nice. Even higher capacity, safer batteries for EV use, preferably using more plentiful materials that don’t catch fire would be very nice too!
Another major one for the UK would be to address the issue of the ever increasing costs (to the taxpayer) of resourcing the NHS to the levels demanded by the voters!
Well, the quickest and most effective way of making the NHS a better service would be to simply reduce demand! If fewer people got ill the lower the workload would be!
Offer to resequence a person’s DNA to remove serious DNA embedded aliments, cure pre-existing aliments including such as stage four pancreatic cancer and even rejuvenate old people would cut the demand for NHS services. Furthermore, rejuvenating old people back to “middle age” or even young people would reduce the cost of providing the state pension as any 70 year old rejuvenated to say age 25 would cease to get the pension! Furthermore in the UK’s case it would help preserve the existing ethnic demographic and thus the nation’s identity.
Now all this verbiage about rejuvenation making 70 year olds psychologically and neurologically like 25 year olds sounds ridiculous and impossible. However it is important to look back in history and speculate. For instance, most readers will have a smart ‘phone. If you went back in time to 1923 and demonstrated it (*) the person you demonstrated it to would be amazed. If you went back in time to 1823 and demonstrated it (*) the person you demonstrated it to would be more than amazed. If you went back in time to 1723 and demonstrated it (*); there would be a danger of being arrested for witchcraft. If you went back in time to 1623 and demonstrated it (*); being arrested for witchcraft would be certain! (* within the limits due to lack of signal)
One of the things that is likely to be mandatory (either as a requirement of the ETs or a desire by the UK establishment) is for what is becoming to be known as a “neural link”. A “neural link” is a small piece of electronic technology that is surgically inserted into a human brain supposedly to enable the said human to access the internet and other remote devices by thinking about them! A certain Mr Musk is pressing ahead with the development of such a device!
There is a surgical procedure – rarely used nowadays – called a lobotomy (from Greek λοβός (lobos) ‘lobe’, and τομή (tomē) ‘cut, slice’). It is a form of neurosurgical treatment for psychiatric disorder or neurological disorder (e.g. epilepsy, depression) that involves severing connections in the brain’s prefrontal cortex. The surgery causes most of the connections to and from the prefrontal cortex, the anterior part of the frontal lobes of the brain, to be severed.
Were a lobotomy to be performed on a person as part of the process of installing a so-called “neural link” where the device was placed in the prefrontal cortex and where the severed connections would be rejoined by connecting the severed ends to each side of the device, it would presumably offer the potential of controlling or heavily influencing the individual so fitted.
