The news that President and Mrs Trump have contracted COVID-19 (https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-54381848) is serious, for him but less so, her.
Mr Trump is of an age and BMI were there are very good reasons to be concerned.
Politically – insofar as the UK is concerned, I reckon that many of our Europhile, green, left-wing detractors will shoot themselves in both feet with both barrels of the metaphorical 12 bore shotgun when they delight in Mr Trump’s misfortune and wish him ill in the many online comments columns – and that part of the internet known as “social media” – available to them!
This blog’s readers who are politically active will be aware that the ordinary members of the British Public take a very dim view of individuals publicly delighting in other’s misfortunes!
Stand by to witness large numbers of feet being shot and holes dug!
